Returning as one of EWF’s flagship sectoral events, Professionals of the Future III will bring together stakeholders from education, training, industry, research and technology to discuss how manufacturing can remain human-centred as artificial intelligence, digitalisation and circular practices reshape the sector.

Under the theme Human-centric (Re)manufacturing in the Era of AI, the event will focus on the skills, qualifications and collaboration needed to prepare professionals for this transformation, while strengthening the connection between technological innovation, industrial practice and workforce development.

As the manufacturing sector moves through both digital and green transitions, the role of professionals is also evolving. The adoption of advanced technologies must therefore be accompanied by the right skills, training approaches and qualification pathways, ensuring that people are prepared not only to use new tools, but also to take an active role in shaping industrial change.

Professionals of the Future III will provide a space for participants from different sectors and countries to exchange experiences, identify common challenges and explore how education and industry can work together towards a more resilient, competitive and human-centric future.
