EWF Joins WELDIFY Project

Introducing WELDIFY: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Welding
The demand for skilled welders in circular and reused metals is more critical than ever. As the construction and automotive industries shift toward recycled materials, high-tech welding solutions become essential to ensure safety, durability, and sustainability.
Poor-quality welding in reused materials can lead to infrastructure failures and safety risks. That’s where WELDIFY steps in.
WELDIFY is an Erasmus+ project aiming to bridge the massive skills gap in Circular Material Welding (CMW)—with nearly 1 million skilled workers needed across Europe. The project introduces advanced training through an inclusive, AI-supported digital platform to empower current and future welders with the tools and knowledge required for next-gen manufacturing.
EWF's Role
As a core partner, EWF contributes its recognized expertise in welding qualifications and certification systems. We ensure that the WELDIFY training pathways are quality-assured, aligned with industry needs, and recognized across Europe—helping learners gain relevant micro-credentials and industry-ready skills.
Why It Matters for the Welding Industry
WELDIFY doesn’t just upskill—it reshapes. By fostering a highly trained workforce in sustainable welding, it supports reshoring manufacturing to Europe, reduces safety risks, and accelerates the shift toward a circular economy.
Stay tuned as we lead the way in building a safer, greener, and more skilled future for welding in Europe.
