EWF is pleased to announce that will participate in the “European Validation Festival” organised by European Commission during 14-15 of June 2018.

The event will gather around 250 practitioners, experts, policymakers, and users from the worlds of employment, social partners, adult education and VET, youth, higher education, etc. to showcase policies and practices, discuss the shape of validation of informal and non-formal learning in Europe, and reflect on the future.

The Validation Festival is organised during two days in Brussels. The first day is built around an interactive marketplace with spotlight stands on regional, national, sectoral and European practices, as opportunities to meet, discuss, and learn with and from peers. Several thematic workshops will also take place.

As the coordinator of the MAKE-IT project, EWF will be present at the marketplace (stand 19) showcasing the project's results: Recognition of Prior Learning Guideline and tools, the EWF qualification matrix, the Pedagogical Kit for Trainers in the field of Welding Qualifications, the EWP (European Welding Practitioner) Learning Outcomes Standard.
The second day will be a conference “Unlocking Talent - The Role of Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning” where the floor will be given to policy developers, validation practitioners and other actors.
