DIGIWELD project is reaching its end after more than two years of collaborative work amongst its partners towards the development of digital training materials based on EWF European Welder Guideline, in addition to a new Learning Management System, where all users have free access to those materials, and SIMTRANET, a platform that allows to connect different welding simulators for an exciting learning experience.

These results were presented to teachers and trainers from across Portugal that attended DIGIWELD National Workshop entitled “Advantages of its results to training in Welding”, organized by EWF. 

Participants’ feedback allowed EWF to conclude on the applicability and usability of DIGIWELD results for an innovative training approach to Welding, improving trainees’ learning process and experience.
