EWF attended and actively contributed for the “Future Skills for Europe’s Aerospace and Defence Industry” Conference, organized by Rzeszow University of Technology (in Poland), an important two-days event in which representatives from Aerospace and Defence Industry and from Education and RTD are gathered to discuss the issues related to skills needs of the sector and how they can be addressed .

EWF’s communication focused on its own experience with accreditation and certification of professionals to reply to a specific challenge for skills providers: “ How accreditation of learning programmes (including courses) and certification of staff facilitate the delivery of competences”.

Moreover, #SAM project was also presented as a best practice in gathering both Education and Industry sectors to foster the growth and innovation of AM sector through the design and development of Qualifications aligned with industry requirements and replying to skills needs, and the application of AM solutions in Aerospace and Defence sector was also addressed.
