ASSETs+ Workshop on Strategy to develop Human Resources (HR) in the Defence sector was conducted yesterday (December 16th, 2021), gathering more than 60 participants, including representatives from DG DEFIS and Cedefop.

The project, its scope and purposes were presented to all attendees, who were then introduced to the main purpose of the Workshop: to gather inputs from experts on some of the actions addressed by the Action Plan on Synergies between civil, defence and space industries (EC, 2021) to update ASSETs+ Strategy for developing HR in the Defence sector document.

After this general presentation, participants were invited to access to specific breakout rooms, moderated by specific ASSETS+ partners, to discuss and provide recommendations on the following actions:

Overall, more than 150 ideas were collected, which will now be further analysed by ASSETs+ consortium and integrated into the updated version of the project’s Strategy for developing HR in the Defence sector, a result to which you will be able to access by the beginning of 2022!
