AILEEN Kick-Off Meeting
The AILEEN (Centres of Vocational Excellence in Aerospace
& Defence for Advanced Manufacturing) project has started officially with
the kick-off meeting on the 19th June In Oeiras. During three days, partners
came together to align on the project goals and planned activities.
AILEEN will “develop” CoVEs for Advanced Manufacturing technologies
(in particular focusing on Welding and additive manufacturing technologies).
Along the 4 years of activity, the activities will balance between learning
& cooperation, enabling to stablish the systematic conditions to
guarantee quality of the synergy and cooperation actions across countries.
The project is coordinated by EWF & is bringing
together a network of private organisations from seven countries (Belgium,
Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and Turkey), representing
both education providers and industry, who share the same commitment of
cooperating in a systematic way towards stablishing excellence education for
the ecosystem.
