How can digital twins and laser manufacturing help shape smarter tooling systems?
This is one of the topics EWF will bring to the XVIII S2P Conference, where we will take part in the Joint FLASH Project DILAPRO Project Workshop on 28 April in Essaouira, Morocco.

The session will bring together perspectives from research, technology and industry around the theme: “Bridging Laser Manufacturing and Digital Twins for Smarter Tooling Systems” and will feature contributions from:

- Ana Queirós (EWF)
- Bernard Revaz (AMIQUAM)
- Gaetano Patrimia (AltForm | formerly Prima Additive by Sodick)
- Riccardo Tonello (Danish Technological Institute)

Through our involvement in the Horizon Europe projects DILAPRO & FLASH, EWF will contribute to the discussion on how advanced laser-based technologies, digitalisation and industrial needs can come together to support more intelligent, efficient and flexible manufacturing solutions.

The workshop will also help highlight the role of DILAFACT within Dilapro Project, as well as the contribution of Flash Projectto the development of highly customisable and energy efficient laser-based manufacturing solutions for industrial applications.
