The EWF, in close cooperation with its members, has been involved in the development of several European Cooperation projects, aiming at acting as representative of welding community in Europe, providing the exchange of scientific and technical information and contributing to the removal of technical barriers. These projects address topics such as Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Technological development and Innovation, Compliance with new EU Directives, among others.

Supported by the 7th FrameWork Programme and Lifelong Learning Program, at present, EWF is cooperating in the development of several projects.
