Newsletter #29
The EWF, in close cooperation with its members, has been involved in the preparation and implementation of several European projects almost since the date of its establishment.
Acting as representative of the European welding community in general, it supports the exchange of scientific and technical information and contributes to the removal of technical barriers between welding institutions from different countries.
Project topics range from Health and Safety aspects, Ergonomics, Technological development and Innovation, Compliance with new EU Directives, among others.
Although presently involved in projects funded by the 7th Framework Programme and the Lifelong Learning Programme, funding opportunities exist beyond these programmes and the EWF Secretariat has been looking for alternative project opportunities that can benefit the EWF members and the European Welding community in general.
For further details regarding EWF's involvement in EU Projects, feel free to browse through the list of projects in which we are currently involved.
For specific additional details in the FP7 Cordis Partner Service and the Lifelong Learning Partner Search Tool.
