VIRCOUNS – Career Counseling in Lifelong Learning using new ICT approach and tools A Leonardo da Vinci project, VIRCOUNS concluded its activities in September 2004. The project's main outcome was a toolkit to on the guidance and counselling process of jobseekers. As a pilot project, it focused on three distinct professions: Welding Engineers, Heat and Ventilation Engineer and multimedia web designer. The toolkit includes: Interactive vocational information on professions and jobs; Interactive self-assessment of one's interests; Interactive self-assessment of one's skills; Support on the process of choosing and looking for a job.
