GLOBAL-MAT – Methodologies, accreditation and training within outsourced production processes and global production work-flow
The GLOBAL-MAT project was a Leonardo da Vinci project, funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme. It began in November 2006 and lasted until October 2008.
The consortium worked to develop a new competence transfer model for organizing, delivering and deploying effective production technology transfer within and between companies.
The main outcomes of the project included:

New methodology and quality assurance for extraction of in-house specialized know-how and competence mapping between companies and SMEs;
 Train-the-Trainer programme for use of blended-learning methodologies;
