Continuing Education of Welding Engineering and Welding Inspection
The CONTINUED project was an European project supported by the Leonardo da Vinci Programme aiming at promoting the continuing Education of Welding Engineering and Welding Inspection Personnel.
Several workshops were organized in the partner's countries in order to evaluate, together with the industrial representatives, the competence profile, knowledge and experience requirements for welding engineers and inspectors.
The project originated the following results and outcomes:
» A CD-ROM concerning "Cost Aspects of Welding and Production" Developed by DVS (German Partner).
» Handbook and Power Point presentation (to support the trainers) concerning "Welding Fabrication Standards" Developed by IIS (Italian Partner)
» Workshop structure and Power Point presentation (to support the trainers) concerning "Developing of Competences for Management Changes using the
 tool CPS - Creative Problem Solving" Developed by FWC (Slovakian Partner)
