Steps forward in increasing EWF Qualification System

Steps forward in increasing EWF Qualification System

On the 13th September EWF participated in a meeting in Brussels with representatives from ESCO (Multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences; Qualifications and Occupations). ESCO mission is to make Qualifications more transparent across Europe by using a common European Language for Qualifications in the labour market.

The meeting was an excellent opportunity to set the next steps of the collaboration in the pilot project, which aims to build the qualifications pillar. The first result of this experience is the publication of the European Welding Practitioner Qualification in ESCO pilot website. In 9th October this experience will be shared with representatives of Member States during the ESCO: Connecting people and jobs Conference.

That is a step forward in increasing EWF Qualification System visibility since we are one of the first International Organisations having their Qualifications linked to ESCO.
