Exchange of good practices in Occupational Safety and Health
The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) is organizing the Healthy Workplaces Campaign partner event “Exchange of good practices in OSH” between 22 and 23 March 2017 in Brussels.
The event provides the possibility to exchange OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) good practices on various topics such as leadership in OSH and OSH Key Performance Indicator Reporting.
EWF, as a campaign partner, is attending this event, being represented by Mr. Tobias Rosado.
Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2016-17, ‘Healthy Workplaces for All Ages’, organised by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA). Its overall aim is to help workers, managers and employers recognise and manage the challenges of an ageing workforce, focusing not on one age group, but on workers of all ages. It also highlights the importance of using a life-course approach. Fostering healthy working practices in young workers and developing good working conditions promotes sustainable work throughout their working lives and ensures healthy ageing.
There is a data visualisation tool which highlights the key findings of a project carried out by EU-OSHA at the request of the European Parliament, aimed at understanding occupational safety and health (OSH) in the context of an ageing EU workforce. It provides an accessible visual presentation of data on demographics, employment, working conditions, and health in the context of an ageing workforce, and of OSH and related policies addressing the challenges.
