WELDICTION-TR – Transfer of Welding Multimedia Software
WELDICTION-TR was a project which covers the most well-known welding terms, in a multimedia dictionary format, with the changes of this area, together with difficulties in definition of specific terms, internationalisation of this market.
WELDICTION-TR aimed at transferring the training tool that had been developed by EWF project through adapting it to relevant national needs and languages (Turkish, Italian and Romanian) in order to ensure effective evaluation and validation. This tool will enable the achievement of new linguistic skills in the welding through supporting improvements in quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, institutions and practices, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market.

Offering a new training tool, developed in order to be very user friendly
The evaluation and validation of this tool
Achievement of new linguistic skills in the welding field by both unemployed or employed
The dictionary will provide a tool for consultancy and a support for vocational training courses, in the several countries involved, with particular
emphasis on access to terminology in the various mother tongues. In addition it will promote the gradual development of a European vocational training
and vocational qualification area.
The project was carried out by 7 partners from 5 European countries, from 1 December 2007 till 30 November 2009.
