The basic idea of the project is to raise awareness and promote company's compliance to EN ISO 3834, as a way to ensure a high degree of quality in the training and qualification of personnel involved in all stages of the welding activity.

The project will assess the different national requirements for compliance with EN-ISO 3834 in order to develop the appropriate handbooks, namely a Personnel and a Company Handbook.

The development of these handbooks will serve as a basic guidance to all personnel, whether welders, welding operators or company managers to follow the necessary guidelines to comply with EN-ISO 3834.
